We are inspected annually to guarantee we continue to raise our bison in as humane and natural manner as possible while attending to the well-being of the animals and the ecology of the natural resources. AGW certification requires pastures to be attended to without the use of chemical additives such as herbicides. The animals are kept together in the herd to preserve social instincts. No-stress harvest is practiced to prevent stress hormones from contaminating the meat. No vaccinations, no antibiotics, no hormones means clean, pure meat. Animals are kept healthy by the addition of apple cider vinegar in their water. In the 5+ years we have been doing this we have not had an animal that needed to be treated for illness.
