Delivery Policy

Delivery

Every order is sent to you directly by the talented food (or drink) maker - who often make their foods fresh to order for you. If you order items from more than one food maker you will receive more than one delivery.

Christmas deliveries

You can order ahead of time on Market the Farm - if you would like a later delivery date than the food maker's usual timescales (for example to reach a gift recipient around a particular date, or to receive the foods as fresh as possible for Christmas) please contact the seller directly to inform them.

To make sure that you get your items in time for Christmas we recommend that you order by the dates below.

Note that the cut off dates for Christmas deliveries may vary by seller, particularly for made to order items so check the delivery information for the specific product you are ordering - you will see their estimated delivery dates confirmed at checkout.

Orders received after these dates may be delivered in time for Christmas but it is not guaranteed.

How it works

The food makers specify their own delivery options, and follow the guide below to make sure their delivery prices are fair and reasonable. Their delivery options and charges can be seen on their product details pages, in your basket and also confirmed before you checkout.

As soon as your items have been dispatched you will receive confirmation that your delivery is on its way. You can track the status of your orders using the tracking information from your email confirmation, where you can also get in touch with the maker directly if you have any questions (look for "Contact Seller"). If you’d still like more help, get in touch with us – we’ll be very happy to help.

Delivery times will vary based on the delivery options based upon each seller.

Late delivery

Very occasionally, unavoidable factors can delay a delivery (bad weather or postal strikes, for example). We do ask for your patience if this happens – the maker will be doing their very best to sort it out for you.

If your items haven't arrived within the delivery timescales and you haven't heard from the food maker, something may have gone wrong. Get in touch with your maker to let them know. Once you’ve done this, if you’d still like some more help, get in touch with us – we’ll be very happy to help.

See the Returns policy for more info on refunds for late or non delivery.
